What is the Patagonian stove Condor de Fuego model?

It’s a high-performance thermal mass stove, specially designed for cold climates. The Condor de Fuego model combines a sturdy combustion chamber with an integrated oven and two heated benches, one on each side of the stove.
This design allows for stable, long-lasting heating of spaces with just one or two loads of firewood per day.

While conventional metal stoves need constant refueling to keep the house warm, the Condor de Fuego retains heat for hours—even when the fire is out. The key is its contraflow and thermal storage system, which maximizes efficiency and minimizes wood consumption.

Why take this course?

Many self-built stoves fail due to:

  • Use of poor-quality materials

  • Incorrect sizing of chambers and benches

  • Poor combustion performance

  • Lack of autonomy or bad chimney draft

This course guides you step-by-step to avoid all those issues. You'll learn directly from the builder who designed this model, with over 10 years of experience in sustainable heating.
